The EUROpean VIScosupplementation COnsensus group is a working group of experts in osteoarthritis who regularly meets, since 2014, to exchange point of view, discuss, debate and establish recommendations on specific subjects related to viscosupplementation and osteoarthritis management.
This scientific board is composed of Key Opinion Leaders coming from different European countries (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK and Turkey) and with different specialties. The group indeed gathers rheumatologists, orthopaedic surgeons, sport medicine and knee surgeons as well as rehabilitation specialists.
All had expertise in clinical research methodology in the field of Osteoarthritis and Viscosupplementation and experience in academic medicine and/or private practice.
The objective of the EUROVISCO Group is to draw up and publish suggestions and recommendations to help practitioners in osteoarthritis management and the better use of viscosupplementation in their daily practice.
